Jennifer Zmuda, Photographer
I’ve lived and worked as a photographer in the Columbus area since 2012. In addition to my family photography business, I also create the visual content (both photography and video) for BalletMet. I’ve been a dog mom since my early 20’s, and in 2017 I began the journey of becoming an SMBC (single mom by choice) and gave birth to my beautiful baby girl Josephine in June of 2019. She might become my little photo helper one day, so if she joins us during our sessions occasionally just know she’s still “in training”.
I love what I do. There is something so satisfying and meaningful to me to create permanence to our lives through photography. Our history and our life stories are happening through little moments every day. I love that we have the ability to capture these milliseconds and keep them with us, that we have the ability to look back on them after the memory has faded to remind us of the joy, the sorrow, the challenges, and the successes.
Photos are so powerful, they hold pieces of us that might otherwise be forgotten. They connect us with each other, they connect the generations and tell the stories of our family, friends, and loved ones. I take great pride in capturing something so valuable and love being able to do this work for others.
“This is a wonderful day, I have never seen this one before.”
