Newborn Photography

Parenthood can feel overwhelming, but the first several weeks of your child’s life are worth remembering. As a mother and photographer, I understand and anticipate the joys and challenges of a newborn photo session so you can focus on what truly matters. Newborn photoshoots are typically scheduled within the first 7-14 days after birth, but there is no hard and fast rule and every birth experience is different. If you can, it’s best to contact me a month before your due date to reserve general time on my schedule. If that’s not possible, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I will do everything I can to accommodate you and your new little bundle.

Maternity Sessions Available

Looking for a maternity session before you meet your newborn? Let’s chat!

What to Expect

These intimate family times are done in your home for the safety and security you deserve, but I also come prepared with a photo-ready basket and neutral blankets/wraps. Sessions last around 90 minutes, but don’t worry, additional feedings, diaper changes, and baby soothing are an expected part of the session.

How your family can prepare for the best photo session:

• Plan and gather any special blanket, outfit, or accessories.

• Try to get in a full feeding prior to our session.

• Email me any questions or concerns you have.

• Most importantly: enjoy this time with your newest family member!

Milestone Session

You know those cute milestone photos on social media? They are often both hilarious and heartwarming, but they don’t necessarily stand the test of time in terms of great photography. Why not have the best of both worlds?

Let’s bring your family’s love, your sense of humor, and your child’s developing personality to light… with professional lighting and direction experience from a fellow parent. I encourage families to schedule photoshoots around 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year so they can truly watch their child grow. These photos should last forever, and their quality certainly makes a difference.

How your family can prepare for the best photo session:

• Plan around a theme, outfit, or accessories. Bring personality!

• Try to get in a full feeding prior to our session.

• Email me any questions or concerns you have.

• Most importantly: let’s have fun!
